bmibaby celebrates on time performance

bmibaby is celebrating after releasing January and February 2009 on time performance statistics. During January 90.8 per cent departed within fifteen minutes of their scheduled departure time. During February 84.4 per cent departed within fifteen minutes, despite the terrible weather conditions experienced throughout the UK during the month.

Information from flightontime.info, which uses data from the Civil Aviation Authority, shows that the average number of scheduled flights departing on time was 69.3 per cent, based on January to September 2008 departures, so bmibaby is exceeding the industry average.
