bmibaby top for on time performance

Low cost airline bmibaby is celebrating after performance analysis website, flightontime.info, has released statistics for quarter one of 2009, hailing bmibaby as the most punctual low cost carrier in the UK.

According to Flightontime.info, from January to March 2009, 86.8 per cent of bmibaby flights departed within 15 minutes of their scheduled departure time.

Flightontime.info uses data from the Civil Aviation Authority and shows that the average number of flights from low cost carriers departing within 15 minutes of the scheduled departure time was 77.8 per cent, so bmibaby is exceeding the industry standard.
