The service (currently available in the resorts of Méribel, Courchevel, Val d’Isère and Tignes) uses ski/snowboarder couriers who will deliver locally sourced food and drink directly to you on the piste at your chosen time and location. Convenient, healthy and hassle-free. More of an occasion!

Whether it is hot soup, a fresh baguette with local savoyarde cheese or fois gras and Bollinger delivered by a tail-coated butler, who will be happy to dig a trench for your ski boots – Picnics On The Piste have a bag that will suit everyone.

Each of the picnics are named after the ski runs –starter picnic is Green, then Blue, Red is the more challenging picnic and the exclusive Black picnic is reserved for gourmet customers. Every picnic contains fun badges that you can award your ski group during the week – hands will fly up for ‘most improved skier’, but who will go home with ‘biggest whinger’ or ‘best crash’! Or how about a magician to entertain children and adults alike?

For those looking for the ultimate picnic in the snow, Picnics On The Piste can organise a Skidoo Experience. Take a flight in a small plane from Méribel to Val D’Isère, land by the Skidoo park and whiz off for a ride.

Drive your own Skidoo or choose to ride as a passenger to a stunning, secluded picnic location where your personal waiter will greet you on arrival.
