Flexible gap years with SnowSkool

SnowSkool offers a variety of start dates, diverse locations and course prices to the next generation of ski & snowboard instructors. SnowSkool is celebrating its fourth year as one of the UK’s leading ski and snowboard gap year providers and is pleased to announce the start of a second season in New Zealand.

Phil Purdie, Managing Director of the SportSkool group, which includes SnowSkool, PoloSkool and ScubaSkool explains SnowSkool’s continued success:

“We offer gap year students and career breakers a choice of locations and our varied departure dates and trip lengths mean there’s a course to suit every timetable and budget. The addition of New Zealand to our portfolio allows us to provide courses throughout the northern hemisphere summer to complement our ever popular Canadian courses, which run for four, five, ten or eleven weeks from December until April.”

SnowSkool currently runs courses at the Canadian resorts of Sunshine Village, Banff and Big White, British Columbia and has built an enviable reputation as one of the best providers of ski and snowboard instructor courses. The New Zealand course is located at Cardrona, arguably the country’s best ski resort.

“With three locations, SnowSkool is able to tailor its offering depending on what students are looking for. While the skiing and tuition is second-to-none at all three resorts, the Banff programme is great for a younger age group looking to make the most of the town’s lively nightlife, while the Big White programme offers luxury ski-in/ ski-out accommodation.
