Festive winter sports holidays for teenagers
Once the excitement of Christmas Day is over, what’s to be done with the teenagers until the new school term begins? One answer could be to make this year’s Christmas present a ski or snowboard holiday with PGL, the UK’s leading operator in children’s adventure and activity holidays; better still, the holidays depart on Boxing Day and there’s a currently a saving of £100 off brochure price.
These eight-day holidays – for youngsters aged 13-17 years - take place in Austria’s Europa Sport region and are suitable for beginners and those with some experience, with instruction in groups of similar ability.
All instruction is by qualified instructors, either PGL’s own staff or in local, English-speaking ski schools. Skiers have five hours of instruction per day and boarders four hours and children will be accompanied at all times when skiing or snowboarding.
Departure date is 26 December with a new price of £835 per child for skiing or £879 for snowboarding.
Included is return overnight coach travel from London or Dover/Folkestone (supplement of £46 from Manchester and £35 from Birmingham), plus six nights’ full-board accommodation, equipment hire, lift pass and instruction, winter sports insurance and all-important après-ski such as bowling or ice-skating.
