Virgin Atlantic is delighted that the Spice Girls have named Virgin Atlantic as the airline partner for the Return of the Spice Girls world tour, which kicks off in December. The partnership deal will see Virgin Atlantic providing the flights for the Spice Girls, as well as the whole team who are responsible for making the World Tour a huge success. The deal will also include promotional tie-ups and consumer competitions.

Emma, Geri, Mel B, Melanie C and Victoria will fly in Virgin Atlantic’s award-winning Upper Class Suite which means that they will all benefit from Virgin Atlantic’s unique and luxury services. These include a limo service and Drive Thru Check In at the airline’s newly launched Upper Class Wing with its private security channel, an onboard bar and inflight beauty therapist as well as the longest fully flat bed in business class in the world - with a leather seat to sit in which flips over into a proper mattress to sleep on, complete with comfy duvet and pillow.

Sir Richard Branson, President of Virgin Atlantic said:

"We are absolutely delighted to be working with the Spice Girls on their reunion tour and really pleased to have the honour of taking the girls out to LA for their rehearsals but even more importantly, bringing them back to the UK for the British leg of the tour. We promise to get them to their destinations in style!"

The deal was concluded by Simon Fullers’ 19 Entertainment. Simon Fuller said today:

"The Spice Girls, Britain’s most successful pop exports, are happy to be flying the flag of one of Britain’s greatest companies, Virgin Atlantic, while they travel the world on their much anticipated reunion tour."
