Promoting safer driving at Health & Safety Expo 09

6th May 2009 Print
DriveTech will be the only driver training and risk management specialist at this year’s premier health and safety showcase, the Health & Safety Expo, which takes place at the NEC over the Tuesday May 12 to Thursday May 14 period.

The company (Stand F56, Hall 1) will be promoting its award-winning products and services, which not only save organisations that run vehicle fleets huge sums of money but also help them discharge their duty of care towards employees, customers and even, in some cases, members of the public.

Apart from being able to give visitors details of a wide range of interventions that make drivers less collision-prone, DriveTech personnel will be able to demonstrate the virtues of the online risk management tool DrivingMonitor. This product can give anyone running a vehicle fleet an immediate picture of driver history, eligibility and training record, collision data and costs, vehicle details and locations and a raft of other information allowing accurate monitoring and appropriate action.

DriveTech provides driver risk management services for some 280 corporate customers at any given time and, as a result of its work in other areas of driver education (most notably in providing over twenty different driver education schemes on behalf of a dozen or more police forces), some ten per cent of the UK driving population has now been exposed to DriveTech products or services in the past twenty years.
