Auto Windscreens sponsors Mat Jackson in 2009 BTCC

In a deal signed yesterday (14 May), Auto Windscreens is now the proud sponsor of Mat Jackson, the 27-year old 2008 British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) season runner up.

Mat will race alsongside fellow Auto Windscreens-sponsored driver, Jason Plato under the Racing Silverline banner in rounds 7 -9 of the HiQ MSA BTCC at Donington Park this Sunday (17 May). Both will be driving Chevrolet Lacetti’s.

Jackson has already enjoyed a race win at Thruxton three weeks ago following Plato’s victory in the Brands Hatch opening round.

It is expected to be a thrilling race this weekend. Jackson believes the Silverline Lacetti will be well-suited to Donington’s fast, sweeping lay-out having worked through a variety of set-ups with the car at Thruxton that ultimately helped lead to his race win.

Jason and Mat currently stand in fifth and eight place respectively in the BTCC driver standings with eight rounds remaining in the competition.
