Hot Rod & Custom Car Drive-In Day

26th May 2009 Print
Hot Rods Come to the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu on Sunday 21st June and see hundreds of stunning Hot Rods and customs, sunning themselves in the picturesque Beaulieu grounds. Over 250 vehicles from all over the country attended the first Hot Rod and Custom Drive-In Day in 2008 and even more are expected this year, from Hot Rods and Customs to Classic Americans, Chops and Bobbers.

There will be a display of iconic Airstream caravans, Tot Rods and a Static Wild Bunch Dragster Exhibition, plus trade stands and a prize giving for the best vehicles. Live music will be provided by strolling players, Mariachi el Mexicano.

Admission, from 10am, includes entry to the whole Beaulieu attraction including the National Motor Museum with the new Autoglym ‘Jaguar Jamboree’ Exhibition, Palace House, home of the Montagu family since 1538 and 13th century Beaulieu Abbey and gardens plus Rides for all the family.

Be among the first to see the attraction’s newest feature, ‘World of Top Gear’, with actual cars from some of Jeremy, Richard and James’ most ambitious (but rubbish) challenges. Hear stories from the presenters and see clips from some of the best moments over the years.
