Does your dad think he’s ‘Fast & Furious’?

But take them out of the family hatchback and into a Lamborghini, and can they really hack it? Why not give your Dad a 6th Gear driving experience this Father’s Day and let him find out!
Stop his dreaming and put him behind the wheel of a legendary supercar, an amazing choice that includes Aston Martins, Lamborghinis, Ferraris and an Audi R8, and all from only £99.
Ideal as a Father’s Day, birthday treat, Christmas present or even as a retirement present, a 6th Gear Experience gift voucher is your Dad’s ticket to ride - and then some!
The cars he can actually drive
Aston Martin DBS - as driven by James Bond in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, this is the most iconic of British supercars.
6.0 litre, V12 510bhp. 0 - 60mph in 4.3 seconds, top speed 195mph. It’ll set you back a cool £159,500 to buy, but your driving experience will cost a mere fraction of that.
Lamborghini LP640 - a stonkingly quick supercar with a power output of 631bhp - and what a noise!
£220,000 will park this mega car in your driveway - or £129 will give you the kind of test drive you’ll never forget. There are very few LP640s in the UK and we’ve got one!
6.5 litre V12 with a blistering 0 - 60mph acceleration of 3.8 seconds, and a top speed of 215mph.
Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale - the F360 is a truly legendary Ferrari created by Italian design specialist Pininfarina in collaboration with Ferrari's own Head of Design, and this model is a ‘performance’ Ferrari built for the track.
3.6 litre 400bhp at 8,000 rpm and 275 lb ft at 4,750 rpm. Top speed over 180mph, and 0 - 60mph in 4.4 seconds. And guess what? It’s red!
Audi R8 - Audi also owns Lamborghini and the R8 uses the same chassis as the Gallardo, but is built in Germany.
4.2 litre FSI Quattro gives a 0 - 60mph performance of 4.6 seconds, and a top speed of 187mph from 414bhp. £80,000 ‘fresh-out-of-the-box’, and a classic in the making.
Other cars available include the ‘pocket rocket’ Ariel Atom, svelte Aston Martin Vantage, über cool Lamborghini Gallardo and Murcielago, and Rally-spec Subaru Impreza STi from just £99.
Several of the cars feature an automatic gearbox and are very straightforward to drive, so can either be driven in ‘auto’ or you can opt to change gears using the ‘paddle shift’. Manual shift cars are also available, and no previous supercar driving experience is necessary.
Safety first
A fully trained and experienced instructor who’s skilled at driving and controlling high performance cars, supervises every drive. He’s there to guide you around our high-speed circuit and ensure maximum enjoyment in complete safety. Safety helmets are provided where necessary.
Family friendly
Suitable for all the family, there’s plenty of action to see, so as well as watching Dad put his chosen supercar through its paces, ‘Hot Laps’ are available for high-speed passenger trips in a Lamborghini with a qualified driver/instructor. Every participant is given a certificate to mark their special drive, and action photographs are also available so you can remember your white-knuckle day with 6th Gear.
Locations
6th Gear Experience currently operates from two principal tracks, at Elvington Airfield, York, and Prodrive, Kenilworth, Warwickshire. Two new locations, near London and Manchester will be added shortly.
