Dates released for KTM X-Bow ‘Drive Orange’ track days

4th June 2009 Print
KTM X-Bow KTM has announced dates for its official ‘Drive Orange’ track days, which give motoring enthusiasts a unique chance to get behind the wheel of one of the world’s most extreme sportscars.

Taking place at Brands Hatch (on the rarely-used GP circuit) on 24 June, and Silverstone (GP circuit) on 14 July, Drive Orange offers one-to-one tuition from professional racing drivers on how to best exploit the car’s performance on road and track. The programme will include a number of driving sessions with the car, before switching to the passenger seat to experience a hot lap at the hands of one of KTM’s professional GT4 racing drivers.

The cost to attend either session is £245 (Silverstone) or £295 (Brands Hatch), which is refundable on purchase of a KTM X-BOW.

Launched in July 2008, the KTM X-BOW is a radical, lightweight sportscar which brings technology from professional motorsport to the road. The car’s Dallara-designed carbon fibre monocoque delivers both light weight and high chassis rigidity – for excellent handling and safety – which, combined with class-leading aerodynamics, enables X-BOW to achieve 1.8g lateral acceleration on semi-slick tyres.
