Race-bred aluminium callipers launched by Caparo

Caparo AP Braking, the UK’s leading manufacturer of bespoke braking and clutch actuation solutions, has recently unveiled its brand new selection of aluminium callipers, engineered for a wide range of saloon upgrades and race applications. Caparo AP Braking has already secured contracts with a number of performance car manufacturers.

The new range consists of a heavy-duty 6 piston calliper and a standard range of 6 piston, 4 piston and 2 piston callipers available as either a 2 piece assembly or monobloc construction. The callipers are manufactured in aerospace grade aluminium and are produced from either castings or billet, machined for the ultimate in lightweight high performance. The callipers are also available with titanium pistons. The range of callipers includes fitments for Lotus, Aston Martin, BMW and Jaguar, to name just a few. Many of the brakes can be used as upgrades not only for fast road cars but also for the classic and heritage range of vehicles.

To compliment the above, Caparo AP Braking has also developed a series of brake discs which includes fixed bell, solid and vented, 2 piece vented and veined, and a lightweight fully floating option for race applications.
