Afterwards, an outdoor reception at the chic Eleonas restaurant awaits where a stunning selection of cuisine from Cyprus, Greece, Italy and Spain can be enjoyed. After the cutting of the cake, the couple will be given a kouza (a Cypriot vase) to break – a Greek and Cypriot custom.

A live band will be on hand to serenade couples as they take their first dance and provide an evening of musical entertainment including live renditions of some Abba classics…the girls really will be able to prove their ‘Dancing Queen’ abilities all night long! As the night draws to an end, in keeping with the Mediterranean tradition, all guests will receive a traditional Greek bombonieres (favour) to take home with them.

For a more traditional Cypriot way to tie the knot, the bride and groom will be accompanied to their private outdoor ceremony to take their vows by a group of violinists. The traditional ceremony will be followed by an afternoon of celebration with folk dancers providing superb entertainment. Guests can enjoy a magnificent Cypriot buffet and a variety of local drinks followed by a customary “thank you” dessert of loukoumi (Turkish delight).
