New Europcar location at Southampton Airport

Europcar has expanded its airport presence with the opening of a new rental station at Southampton Airport which serves 1.9 million travellers each year. The development comes as part of the overall expansion of the airport and will see Europcar joining forces with National Car Rental – both part of the Europcar UK Group - in a new building created specifically for car rental. The shared facility will double vehicle availability for Europcar and National Car Rental’s business and leisure customers, increasing marketshare at the airport for the Europcar UK Group.

Europcar will have a dedicated desk with vehicles parked close by to ensure a speedy transition from plane to car. In addition, Europcar is planning to offer a prestige service from the airport, courtesy of Guy Salmon Prestige Rental. This will offer even more choice of vehicles for business and leisure travellers who may need a vehicle for a special occasion or important meeting.
