Yorkshire Building Society enter the Motor Insurance market for the first time. It is being offered as a branded product through the Society’s relationship with Royal & SunAlliance.

Ian Bullock, General Manager Sales and Marketing at the Yorkshire commented, "The launch of YBS Motor Insurance is a natural extension to our existing general insurance range. Key features of the new policy are as follows:-

Recommended repairers, with a three year guarantee on all approved work undertaken.
A free courtesy car for the duration of the repair.
A replacement vehicle if a car is bought from new and is written off in the first 12 months.
A hire car for 48 hours if a customer's car is stolen, immobilised or unrecoverable.
A loyalty bonus - an increase in the no-claims discount each year that a customer does not make a claim, up to a maximum of 70%.
Online discount of 7.5% in year 1
Free European cover for 45 days per annum.
