As a part of the exciting changes happening at Icelandair, the airline has announced the launch of its new website, and stepping on board the updated aircraft, passengers will also notice new ergonomically designed seats with personal in-flight entertainment systems, a roomier interior with a new look and a sleeker more comfortable approach to transatlantic travel.

Effective November 1, 2008, a new third cabin, Economy Comfort will also take flight. Economy Comfort is for the business traveller expecting more amenities on a fixed budget and offers wider, more comfortable seats, more legroom, complimentary beer, wine and meals, with Business Class check-in and lounge access.

"We at Icelandair hope to showcase our Icelandic heritage and our pride in Iceland’s nature and history. Travellers on Icelandair will also have the opportunity to see what truly sets us apart from every other airline — hospitality," said Birkir Hólm Guðnason, CEO of Icelandair.
