4th March 2009 Print
Spring is on its way to Iceland, heralding the return of long daylight hours and whale watching. To celebrate, Icelandair has dropped the price of its Iceland City Break by £20 and is now offering the package from £219*. In addition, the popular Whale Watching special returns in April with a price from £239*.

Iceland’s spring is stunning. Visitors can take advantage of 14 hours of daylight in April and 17 hours in May. All of this daylight provides ample time to explore Iceland’s natural highlights including: glaciers, lava fields, geysers, black sand beaches, waterfalls, mountains and more.

The spring is also excellent for interacting with Iceland’s wildlife, including whales and sea birds. The Whale Watching special includes a three hour whale watching cruise from Reykjavik on which passengers are likely to see whales and even some of Iceland’s loveable puffins.

Icelandair is one of Iceland’s longest established companies, connecting the world and Iceland for over 70 years. Icelandair’s offers are valid for booking online at icelandair.co.uk until 15th March. The Iceland City Break includes flights from London Heathrow to Reykjavik, three nights accommodation at the 2-Star Hotel Cabin and taxes. Travel is permitted until 15th May.
