7th July 2009 Print

Icelandair has announced a golden opportunity for autumn travel to Iceland. Those who book a Golden Circle Special for 16 September to 10 December 2009 travel will receive a free Golden Circle Day Tour if booked online at icelandair.co.uk by 15 July.

This package includes flights, 3 nights accommodation plus free Golden Circle Day Tour from £249*.

The Golden Circle, Iceland’s most popular day tour, is an 8 hour guided coach tour that departs from Reykjavik daily at 9 am. The tour takes in the natural beauty of Iceland, visiting highlights like the Geysir geothermal area, thundering Gullfoss waterfall and breathtaking Thingvellir National Park, where two tectonic plates are slowly moving apart forming a massive rift.

While the tour makes for a full day, the Golden Circle Special provides other free days to enjoy exploring Reykjavik, relaxing at the Blue Lagoon or enjoying one of Iceland’s many autumn activities. Plus, with the extremely favourable exchange rate, UK visitors can enjoy shopping and gourmet dining at affordable prices.

This special package includes flights from London Heathrow, Manchester or Glasgow to/from Iceland, 3 nights accommodation at the 4-star Hotel Loftleidir plus free Golden Circle Tour operated by Reykjavik Excursions from £249*.

The offer is good for 16 September to 10 December travel only and must be booked online at icelandair.co.uk by 15 July. Hotel upgrades are available at an extra cost. Icelandair is one of Iceland’s longest established companies, connecting the world and Iceland for over 70 years.
