The Adrian Flux Classic relocates to Beaulieu

Following the disappointment of having to cancel the Adrian Flux Classic, formerly known as the Classic Car & Bike Show, due to be held on the 1st & 2nd August, show organisers Jo and Greg Dunningham are delighted to announce that the show is relocating to the grounds of the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu on 2nd August.

They said: “We are delighted, and indeed flattered, to have been invited to take our show to the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu.”

“We have been overwhelmed by the amazing number of people who have contacted us to not only tell us how sorry they were to hear that the venue was no longer available, but to tell us just how much they have enjoyed our show and that they genuinely hope that the show will go on, how could we NOT rise up and fight back? The show WILL go on!”

“Our exhibitors and visitors will now have the opportunity for a day of sheer indulgence, not only will they be able to browse around some fantastic exhibits and chat at leisure to fellow enthusiasts, but they will have all the attractions and facilities of the World famous Beaulieu attraction to enjoy.”

Following the extremely successful 2008 Wroughton Classic, where more than 2,600 classic vehicle exhibits and 26,000 visitors attended the third Wroughton classic car & bike event, this very popular show had changed both it’s name and it’s venue for 2009.
After an unfortunate series of events resulting in a move from the Science Museum Wroughton, to the Liddington Hotel, Swindon, the newly named Adrian Flux Classic recently found itself without a venue for 2009. However, despite all this, with the massive support shown by loyal supporters previous visitors and exhibitors of the show, the Adrian Flux Classic has accepted the kind offer of support from the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu to hold a one day show in its grounds on 2nd August.

Beaulieu Events Manager, Judith Maddox said:” We are delighted to be able to offer a new venue for the Adrian Flux Classic, to enable the show to take place this year and look forward to a great day with lots of classic cars and bikes. With Beaulieu’s proven track record for holding major motoring events it is the ideal venue.

“Both the exhibitors and visitors will be able to enjoy not only the Adrian Flux Classic but all the features within the Beaulieu attraction, including the National Motor Museum and newly opening World of Top Gear.”

As in previous shows, the Adrian Flux Classic Car & Bike Show, being run in conjunction with Classic Car Weekly and Classic Bike Magazine, will be bringing an amazing collection of classic cars and bikes from across the country with club stands, Autojumble, Trade and Craft stands. In addition there will be a number of attractions to help keep the younger visitors entertained.

Visitors purchasing tickets for the Adrian Flux Classic Car & Bike Show will be able to enjoy both the fine selection of classic cars and bikes exhibiting as well as the full range of attractions available at Beaulieu. Tickets at £16.65 adult (concessions for seniors, children & families), can be purchased on the day or in advance by visiting beaulieu.co.uk/tickets.

Visitors coming to Beaulieu with their classic car or bike to exhibit as part of the Adrian Flux Classic will enjoy a generous discount on their entry tickets. For exhibitor registration and trade stands, visit wroughtonclassic.co.uk.
