Following BMI Baby's recent announcement of the withdrawal of their Cork to Birmingham route, and Ryanair's termination of their Cork to East Midlands route, Aer Lingus is pleased to reaffirm their commitment to scheduled services between Cork and Birmingham International Airport.

Aer Lingus currently operate six flights a week between Cork and Birmingham, with an excellent on-time performance record of 92%. Customers can avail of great low fare offers, with one-way fares starting from as little as €9.99 including taxes and charges.

Commenting on the announcement, Deputy CEO Niall Walsh said, "Today's announcement demonstrates our continued commitment to the Cork region, offering customers a gateway to the East Midlands. We are delighted to continue to offer passengers low fares and great service to the convenient city airports of Cork and Birmingham. We are particularly proud of our long-standing association with Birmingham International Airport, having operated the first commercial flights there seventy years ago."

Aer Lingus also operates up to four flights daily between Dublin and Birmingham.
