True connoisseurs seeking the ultimate safari experience need look no further than Africa Sky’s ‘Romantic Campfires & Pristine Beach’ itinerary. Promising an adventure-of-a-lifetime, it offers the opportunity to discover Tanzania’s menagerie of birds and mammals by boat and vehicle as well as on foot.

The nine-night tour, staying in intimate tented camps, takes in two of Africa’s most stunning parks, Ruaha and Sealous, and culminates at a small exclusive beach property on the beautiful Tanzanian coast.

Ruaha National Park, renowned for its ecological and geographical landscapes, offers a cross-section of species and a climate that is unique to the country. Selous National Park is Africa’s largest Game Reserve and one of the last great wilderness areas on the continent.

Game drives in Ruaha rarely disappoint and with the luxury of Jongomero Camp and Selous Safari Camp as a base, guests can enjoy a most exclusive and rewarding safari experience that includes day and night game drives, escorted bush walks and a boat trip that weaves amongst pods of hippo and crocodile. Seek out Greater and Lesser Kudu, over 475 species of bird and all of the major African mammals, including elephant, lions, leopard and even the rare African Wild Dog.

The tour culminates with a relaxing visit to Ras Kutani, a small coastal resort of castaway luxury, set on a pristine beach of white sand, directly on the Indian Ocean.

Prices start from £3,495 per person, (based on two sharing and departing in June, November or December) and include return flights from London Heathrow to Dar es Salaam with Kenya Airways, accommodation on a full-board basis with three nights at Jongomero Camp, three nights at Selous Safari Camp and three nights in a cottage at Ras Kutani. Internal flights, game drives, featured excursions, transfers, taxes and surcharges are also included.

Day 2 & 3– Ruaha National Park
Enjoy two full days in Ruaha National Park with morning and afternoon game drives on Day 2, roaming the parklands, riverine areas and hills. A full game drive on Day 3 takes guests to the north to the Ruaha hills and river plains in search of the excellent wildlife to be found in this area.
