Peak-season savings for motorhomes to Ireland

10th July 2009 Print

Irish Ferries isn’t just offering substantial savings for car drivers this summer, the special deals also apply for holidaymakers taking their own motorhome or caravan across to Ireland.

And with around 100 sites now available across the country, there are great opportunities for a relaxing, stay-put break or enjoying the country’s beaches, spectacular scenery and historical sights in a tailor-made tour.

For bookings made 14 days in advance of travel, Irish Ferries is offering one-way fares for a motorhome and driver for as little as £104 for midweek crossings, with additional adults paying £20 and free places for all children.

For car and caravan combinations, prices vary according to length and height but again, kids travel free all summer. As an example, a one-way, daytime cruise ferry crossing for a car and driver plus caravan under 2.4m high is from £139 with additional adults at £20 each.

Based on overnight campsite fees of £22, a family of four can enjoy a week’s stay in Ireland with their caravan for as little as £500 with return ferry crossing.
