Head to the Sahara this half term for the adventure of a lifetime

12th October 2009 Print

You can have an adventure of a lifetime this October half term by taking a 4x4 trip across the Sahara desert with Small Families, the UK’s leading operator for single parent holidays, and visit the location of one of the most famous films ever made.

Forget the myth of the Sahara being a barren landscape; rather it’s an intoxicating mix of palm tree lined oasis’, shimmering salt lakes and small towns. You will also visit the oasis town of Tozeur which was used for the location of Mos Espa on Tatooine – Luke Skywalkers’ home planet!

Your trip starts and ends in the very comfortable Hotel Mediterranee situated in Hammamet in Northern Tunisia and you will be able to enjoy the company of other single parent families.

The trip departs from Heathrow on a scheduled Tunisair flight on 25 October.

Prices for a seven night stay, inclusive of travel, taxes, transfers breakfast: lunch & dinner including drinks with meals (while at hotel), excursions, entry fees to sites and museums and the services of a Small Families host throughout the holiday are £846 per adult, £665 for the first child under 12 years and £720 for any additional children also under 12.
