Lex adopts new branding after HBOS acquisition

22nd July 2006 Print
Lex Vehicle Leasing has announced a new name and logo following its official change of ownership from Aviva to HBOS.

Lex has relaunched itself as simply Lex, dropping the ‘Vehicle Leasing’ to reflect the unrivalled awareness of its offerings to its fleet and retail customers.

The new logo incorporates the word Lex and a new graphical device which represents the way Lex is now organised.

Under the auspices of Lex Managing Director Jon Walden, the business is organised around a central hub.

Lex Corporate looks after all fleets from 20-20,000 vehicles
Lex Partner manages all relationships with third parties including brokers, manufacturers and leasing companies
Lex Individual looks after all one-to-one relationships with drivers that are on PCP or HP
Lex Services includes all the central services such as accident management, maintenance, marketing and daily rental that are provided to Lex Corporate, Partner and Individual

“The Lex Group has an excellent new owner in the shape of HBOS and there are exciting times ahead for the new-look company. We decided to stay with the Lex name because it is so well known in the fleet arena, but to drop the vehicle leasing to reflect our broader business offering,” explained Jon Walden, managing director of the Lex Group.

“That broader range of services has led to huge growth within the Lex business over the past three years. Expect more innovation from Lex in the future. We are well on the way to becoming a World Class company,” he added.
