Dream Homes Worldwide expands into Scandinavia
Having achieved sales to over 1,500 clients since opening for business at the back-end of 2005, Dream Homes WorldWide is now expanding its international off-plan real estate services into Scandinavia. 2008 heralded the launch of domain extensions .dk (Denmark) and .no (Norway) to the company’s online operation as well as the opening of an office premises in the Danish capital, Copenhagen.Swedish-born Johan Lindgren, Managing Director of Dream Homes WorldWide Scandinavia comments, “Scandinavians are making a switch from lifestyle purchases to becoming very investment focused when it comes to buying property overseas and for this reason they are finding markets such as Dubai particularly interesting over-and-above more holiday-orientated countries such as Turkey and Spain. In fact around 97% of leads handled by our Copenhagen office are for Dubai. As a population Scandinavians are someway behind the rest of Europe in terms of getting to grips with off-plan purchase and this may be where Dubai wins through with the new Escrow Law in particular making it one of the safest places on the planet in which to invest. As time goes by the market will become more receptive to new ideas with perhaps adjacent emirates such as Ras Al-Khaimah coming to the fore.”
Johan continues, “Where Dream Homes WorldWide Scandinavia stands apart from the competition is the range of product available as well as its ‘Securinvest’ policy which ensures that all documentation, licenses and bank guarantees are in place before releasing developments to the buying public. Other international off-plan specialists do exist in Scandinavia but these tend to focus on one market or another, maybe Bulgaria or Spain. Dream Homes WorldWide Scandinavia covers a spectrum from Germany to Turkey, Dubai to Brazil, and of course brings several years of successful trading to the table. It will not be long before our business becomes a byword for off-plan real estate for the Scandinavian people.”
Dream Homes WorldWide’s Scandinavian operation is expected to grow quite swiftly throughout 2008 with planned satellites in Oslo, Stockholm and Helsinki hot on the heels of the Copenhagen office.
