UK leader helps scrappage losers beat the crush

1st October 2009 Print
Scrap cars Whilst few can deny the Government’s scrappage scheme has given the motoring industry a much needed shot in the arm and even with their recent extension of the scheme, not everyone is smiling.

Car owners who don’t qualify under the scheme’s stringent ownership guidelines are being well and truly left out in the cold. Until now that is. Carcraft, the UK’s leading used car hypermarket is offering a way for them to ‘Beat the Crush’.

The promotion offers motorists £2,000 trade in on any car against a selected range in the showroom with none of the Government’s age or ownership restrictions. And because the trade in allowance is against a used car, buyers get even more value for their money without the worry of rapid depreciation which impacts new car sales.

“Carcraft has always tried to make motoring as affordable as possible for as many people as possible” said Sales Director, Mike Walsh. Our ‘Beat the Crush’ campaign is a logical next step as we try and help those left out of the scrappage scheme to get a better, more reliable car.”

Whilst the jury is still out on the green credentials of the Government’s scrappage scheme, by ’Beating the Crush’ motorists can still trade up to a greener model themselves.

With Carcraft’s selected range of cars available in the scheme, customers aren’t stuck for choice either. Throw in a free parts and labour guarantee, free HPI check and free 120 point mechanical check and the deal looks even better.
