Natural fine fragrances for the home

Sophisticated and elegant, Jonathan’s inspiration comes from personal olfactory memories that he recreates so that they may become memories for others. From the romantic ‘Peonies in Paris’ to the natural euphoria of ‘After the Rain’, the enveloping bonfire smokiness of ‘Lost in El Salvador’ and the mouth-watering overripe berry plumpness of ‘Cassis Noire’.
The candles are housed in Italian crystal tumblers that can be re-cycled as very chic drinking glasses after the candle has burned, and all packaging is re-cycled.
With paraffin wax now officially linked to cancer, it is essential that one choose scented candles carefully.
After the Rain—Fresh green leaves after a thunderstorm, dewy grass. I love the fact that the world feels like it has been washed clean - it is an invigorating, optimistic fragrance with aquatic jasmine and pink cyclamen.
Moss— the texture of soft mosses, smudged and crumbled between my hands, this fragrance combines musk, lily of the valley, rose, patchouli. This is exquisitely elegant with Egyptian musk, vetiver, patchouli and jonquil.
Citrine Ivy— inspired by a trip to Florence discovering a 400 hundred year old cottage in the hills, I saw the largest bowl of citrus fruits set against a wild covering of green ivy. An uplifting, energising bouquet of Champagne citrus notes, lush ivy, wild grasses, grapefruit and verbena with a dash if linden blossom.
Cassis Noir— inspired by blackberry picking when I was a child! This is a mouthwatering dish of ripe berries mixed with darker musks to add warms and a savoury base. Mediterranean tangerine, wild red currents, gardenia and lashings of blackberries!
Fleur Pear— inspired by a story I read about the riverbanks in China being covered in carpets of Tiger-Lilies, the locals saw them as weeds, like buttercups. Tiger and water lily plus lily-of-the-valley with tart Asian pears, nutmeg and honey.
Cherrywood Falls— inspired by an evening in Austin Texas, toasting red wine out in the woods, it was truly an evening of warmth, wine and woods. Mahogany, Cypress and redwood with morello cherry and wild plums.
Peonies in Paris— inspired by a picture of a vase of peonies in a window above a bustling Parisian street, capturing café life, fused with cheeky bold flowers. Armfull of peonies mixed with tonka bean and tea roses.
Walk in Machu Picchu - Inspired by the Inca site set high on a mountain ridge. The scent features Oakmoss and white musk and sweet pink vanilla at the base with rose, muguet and cassis in the heart and a delicious cocktail of citrus and tropical notes on top.
Lost in El Salvador - The tiny country lies on the Pacific Ocean with a landscape of dramatic Volcanoes and rivers. The spectacular sunsets are echoed in crisp, green and juicy raspberry top notes layered over herbal basil and spicy ginger , with nuances of jasmine and muguet, a heavy base of woods and amber plus earthy vetiver.
Kiss in Rio - One of most exuberant and exotic locations in the world, this candle conjures a sultry, sensuous mood when romance blossoms as the sun fades. Tangerine and bergamot with orchid layered over jasmine, rose and clove buds, grounded in dark musks and mossy vetiver.
Candles £30 and the burn is between 50-60 hrs.
