McCarthy & Stone is tickled pink in Worle

People in Worle were tickled in pink when they joined residents at McCarthy & Stone’s Fussells Court development on Station Road this week to raise vital funds for charity Breast Cancer Care.

The event included an ‘all things pink’ stall, where visitors could purchase a number of ‘pink’ gifts and visitors enjoyed strawberries and Pimms, which were served throughout the day in the residents’ lounge. The event was a huge success, raising £115 for the charity.

Aileen King, sales and marketing director for McCarthy & Stone South West, commented: “Breast Cancer Care is a charity that is close to many of our residents’ hearts and we were keen to put on an event that not only involved the development’s neighbours but also raised much needed funds for the charity. There is a real community spirit at Fussells Court and we’re delighted that the event proved such a success.”

Fussells Court is a delightful development of 45 one and two bedroom retirement apartments located in Worle, Weston-super-Mare. The development offers a number of features including a residents' lounge, guest suite, games room, secure entry system, lift to all floors and a house manager.
