Primelocation International re-launches website
Leading international property search website, Primelocation International, has re-launched with a fresh homepage design and a range of new features to enhance ease of use for consumers and increase leads for agents, following trials to establish consumer preferences.
The new site now features country-specific search icons on the homepage, improving the ease with which users can click through to their chosen country, as well as a count of how many properties are available in each. In addition, ‘lifestyle search’ icons are now available for France, Spain, USA and Italy, enabling prospective buyers to specify that they are looking for property with facilities such as a swimming pool or a vineyard or with access to a golf course, beach or marina.
Registered users can also add and save their own notes alongside properties that they are interested in, making it easier to keep track of the properties that are right for them and to narrow down the search.
Finally, when searching for a location on the website’s map pages, there is now a property search box alongside the map, as well as a revolving selection of properties available in that specific region, to improve ease of use.
The site changes were made following live user trials of several different versions of the website over a six-week period. The final version chosen was that which generated the highest number of property viewings and estate agent leads.
Ann Wright, International Development Manager of Primelocation International, comments: “The fresh site layout and new tools available on Primelocation International are designed to offer consumers an even simpler and hassle-free method of searching for foreign property. The changes take into account the homepage and features that consumers found easiest to use during a series of live trials and we expect our international agents to receive a higher number of quality leads as a result, furthering our reputation as the leading international property search website.”
