One of the region’s most popular historic towns is offering potential homebuyers a superb range of new properties following the launch of Shepherd Homes’ exclusive High Brook Croft development in Yarm.

The sought-after new development is located just off the Meadowings and comprises a thoughtful mix of three-, four- and five-bedroom detached and semi-detached properties along with a selection of apartments. With prices ranging from £229,995 for a three-bedroom Warwick to £399,9995 for a five-bedroom Epsom there are some excellent deals available.

Mary Bean is York-based Shepherd Homes’ sales executive for High Brook Croft. “High Brook Croft provides people who want to live in close proximity to Yarm’s town centre with a selection of uniquely designed, spacious homes,” she said. “We’ve also ensured that the properties are very competitively priced so that they represent outstanding value. We would urge potential buyers to move quickly because we’ve recently seen a significant increase in sales and reservations at all of our developments throughout Yorkshire, Durham and Northumberland.”

Mary’s claims are backed up by the latest figures from the Nationwide Building Society which say house prices have risen for six months in a row and were higher year-on-year in October, which is the first annual rise for 19 months. These statistics indicate that the market may have bottomed out, and indeed is already recovering, making now the ideal time to buy a new property from Shepherd Homes before the market really heats up again.

Mary continued: “As traditionally happens, the market is gathering pace again in the autumn. People are realising that they have to move quickly to have any chance of securing a property at such great prices so we expecting the development to be very busy throughout the coming months.”

Amongst the homes available at High Brook Croft is the superb five-bedroom Epsom, which is priced at £399,995 and is spread over three floors and features a seperate garage.

The ground floor comprises a welcoming entrance hallway with guest cloakroom and fully fitted contemporary kitchen with breakfast area. There is also a handy store and bi-folding doors to the rear garden, a spacious living room also with bi-folding doors to the rear garden and a seperate dining room and study.

To the first floor there is a large master bedroom with ensuite and dressing area, a second bedroom with ensuite, a modern family bathroom and a further good sized bedroom. The second floor comprises another two bedrooms and another shower room.

High Brook Croft is ideally located within easy reach of  a wide selection of amenities including a good selection of primary schools, secondary schools and colleges. The attractive and historic town centre of Yarm is situated in a loop of the River Tees, which is only a short walk from High Brook Croft. The town’s bustling high street is lined with a selection of shops, restaurants and boutiques.

Yarm is only nine miles from the centre of Middlesbrough, ten miles from Darlington and 30 miles from Durham. The nearby Yarm railway station also offers easy access to Middlesbrough and further services to York and Manchester airport.

The High Brook Croft marketing suite will be open every weekend, Saturday and Sunday, from October 31 until November 8. High Brook Croft will then be marketed from Shepherd Homes Roundhaven development in County Durham. To find out more about Shepherd Homes and its other developments visit shepherdhomes.com.
