Peugeot and Meeke head to Scotland for final round

The final round of this year’s Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC) will take place in Scotland on November 19 – 21st. Full coverage of every stage will be available via a new Rally Radio Service to be launched at the Rally.
Peugeot UK’s Kris Meeke, who secured the IRC drivers’ title at the last round in San Remo, will lead off a strong gathering of local drivers in this week’s Rally Scotland, all keen to get on the top step of the podium.
Kris’s team-mate for this rally will be Adam Gould who will be at the wheel of the BF Goodrich Drivers’ Team Peugeot 207 S2000, which is also fully supported by the Kronos team. Kris’s normal team mates Nicolas Vouilloz and Freddy Loix will not be making the trip to Scotland.
Rally Scotland will also see Kris go head to head with British Rally Champion Keith Cronin who will be driving an Abarth Grande Punto S2000, Scottish Rally Champion David Bogie in a Ralliart Lancer E9, Alister McRae in a Proton Satria Neo S2000 and old sparring partner, Guy Wilks in a Skoda Fabia S2000
The rally starts on Thursday 19th November at 20:08 with two super special stages in the grounds of Scone Palace, a total of 3.06 km. The crews will then contest over the next two days a further eleven stages with a total stage distance of 210.80 km, before the rally ends on Saturday 21st November.
Rally Radio at Rally Scotland – Live On The Web
Peugeot UK has also teamed up with the popular World Rally Radio team from WRC to provide a special broadcast from this week’s inaugural Rally of Scotland.
The team behind the hugely popular World Rally Radio has come together for a special broadcast and will provide full coverage of every stage, with reporters out and about at the stage ends talking live to the crews. You'll be able to listen by clicking through on the Rally of Scotland website – rallyscotland.tv - and through Autosport.com and peugeot.co.uk/rally sites.
Lisa O'Sullivan will anchor the programme with Colin Clark, Chris Rawes and Simon Clark at the stage ends, and veteran broadcaster Greg Strange in the Service Parks. Julian Porter will be the resident pundit in the studio.
The radio programme will operate 30 minutes before the start of each day's opening stage and continuing through to the end of the day, with an overnight programme reviewing the day’s action.
Commented Greg Strange: "We're delighted to be involved with this inaugural Rally of Scotland, and very grateful to Peugeot UK for its support. Thanks to Peugeot, it means the event will reach all the rally fans around the world who can't be there - and provide a useful link for media, sponsors and supporters."
There will also be a nightly vodcast on peugeot.co.uk/rally hosted by Becs Williams following IRC Champions Kris Meeke and Paul Nagle as they tackle the final round of this year's Championship.
