Rod Stewart heads to ITV for ‘One Night Only’

Hosted by Ben Shephard, Rod Stewart is to perform a selection of his best-known songs from his resplendent back catalogue, as well as tracks from his new Top Ten album, ‘Soulbook’, in front of a specially invited audience for an ITV special, Rod Stewart: One Night Only. In addition he will perform an exclusive collaboration with one of Britain’s biggest bands, Stereophonics.

Rod, who had his first UK number one in 1971 with Maggie May has sold an estimated 250 million albums and singles worldwide. A Grammy-Award winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Rod Stewart is one of the most successful performers of all time.

John Kaye Cooper, Controller of Entertainment at ITV, said: “ITV is delighted to be bringing Rod Stewart back to our screens, and we are looking forward to a fantastic performance from a renowned star.”

Rod Stewart said: “I’m thrilled to be premiering some of the tracks from ‘Soulbook’ in front of my British fans and I can’t wait to play these songs that are very dear to me.”
