Saga sends Season's Greetings to insurance customers

Saga Insurance sends Season's Greetings to Home and Motor Insurance customers in the festive season. Throughout the month of December, Saga Home Insurance contents cover automatically increases by 10 per cent and Saga Motor Insurance personal belongings cover doubles to £2000. This is one of the existing product features of home and motor insurance included to cover the added value of gifts in people's homes and cars and the potential increased risk of theft.

Research conducted has shown that people will be spending on average £435 each on gifts this year and with 70% of the over 50s enjoying Christmas in their own homes, compared to only 38% of the under 50s, these increased cover levels will ensure that, should thieves strike during the festive season, customers have peace of mind that they will be fully covered.
