Barratt to make an impact in Shepton Mallett

Barratt is set to make an impressive impact on the housing market in Shepton Mallet with work now underway on Jasmine Place.

Completion of the new homes is still some way off but the developer is working towards completing infrastructure work as quickly as possible.

“Jasmine Place is being created in the heart of the town’s residential area and we are hoping to complete essential works to the roads as quickly as possible to minimise disruption to existing residents,’’ said sales director Andrea Pilgrim.

“Improvements to the roads will start in the new year so as not inconvenience people over the festive period. Residents will benefit from a new road surface and improved parking arrangements.’’

Jasmine Place will offer traditional two, three and four bedroom accommodation and Andrea said that interest is already high in the new development.

“We are hoping to be unveiling detailed plans of the homes at Jasmine Place in the new year but in the meantime potential buyers can register their details to be among the first to learn about the selection of properties,” said Andrea.
