Turbo Dynamics’ twin entry turbocharger unleashed on Subaru market
Hybrid turbocharger designer, Turbo Dynamics (TD) is already acclaimed worldwide for its turbocharger designs and revolutionary steps forward within the industry. One of the more recent hybrid models created by the team is the MD555 (single entry) turbocharger, which can be used on Subaru Imprezas and has become known as ‘The Ultimate Subaru Turbo.’
Now, starting the year off as they mean to go on, the company has done it again and created a new ‘twin-scroll’ turbocharger. The turbo has been designed to go on Subaru Imprezas and could well be ‘The New Ultimate Subaru Turbo!’ One motoring journalist has said the turbo is what Subaru owners’ dreams are made of and it has also already won a Best New Product award.
Turbo Dynamics will be officially launching the MD555 twin entry turbocharger at the Autosport International Racing Car Show which takes place 14-17 January. The company is on Stand 7510.

This exceptional turbo comes onto the market after many months of development by TD and, technical partner, Litchfield Imports. Litchfield is exclusively selling the ‘twin-scroll’ turbocharger and is currently taking orders for the initial product run. The turbo retail price starts from as little as £1495+VAT.
In addition Turbo Dynamics is launching its new Compressor housing at the Autosport show. The housing is being used as part of the twin entry turbo and the existing MD555. The housings will be available in two different air ratio sizes, with three different inlet configurations and two different outlets; one of which has been designed for fly-by-wire equipped cars.
Not ones to rest on theirs laurels the hybrid turbo designers have also said they’re releasing a series of upgrade hybrid turbochargers for the Nissan GTR this month.
