Used car buyers avoid the snow and shop online

Online used car retailer, Carsite.co.uk, experienced more than double the average number of daily sales as the first heavy snowfall of the year meant buyers avoided treacherous roads and snow-covered forecourts to make their vehicle purchase over the internet.

At the end of Tuesday, with the UK experiencing up to 40cm of snow in some regions, Carsite.co.uk reported a 112% increase in sales compared with average daily sales figures from the past two months.
