City Cruises will be creating ripples of romance on the River Thames this Valentine's, with its romantic lunch and dinner cruises on the 13th and 14th of February 2010.

The Valentine's Showboat on the 13 February 2010, will begin at Westminster Pier, where couples will be welcomed on board with a cocktail, then invited to sit back and enjoy a four-course dinner with half a bottle of wine , as they cruise down the River Thames, towards the Thames Barrier. The boat then heads for the homeward journey.

On the return journey a cabaret singer will entertain everyone with a repertoire to suit the occasion, including songs from London's famous West End shows. Afterwards there will be plenty of time for some dancing before the boat returns to Westminster Pier. The cost of this romantic evening is £75 per person.

Couples on the Valentine's Day Lunch Cruise, which is being held on the 14th February 2010, will be able to enjoy a four-course dinner with half a bottle of champagne during the three hour cruise down the River Thames. On the return journey a cabaret singer will also provide entertainment.

Guests will then be met on disembarkation and escorted to the Restaurant Ship Hispaniola, which is permanently moored on Victoria Embankment, opposite the London Eye, where they will adjourn to enjoy a complimentary post-cruise drink as well as take in the fantastic views on offer from St Paul's Cathedral round to the Houses of Parliament.
