Love is in the ‘hair’ at Westrow salons

Westrow, a prestigious Yorkshire hairdressing group which has seven salons across the region, is launching an in-salon and online ‘Love Your Hair’ promotion for Valentine’s to celebrate 25 years in business.

As part of the campaign, Westrow is giving away 400 haircuts to men and women worth more than £20,000, when its seven salons cut hair for free all day on February 12 ahead of Valentine’s Day.

As well as an in-salon competition, a separate online promotion will give away 100 free haircuts – ten every day for ten days from 19 January – to people signed up to a specially created Facebook fan site - facebook.com/WestrowHair.

Established in the mid-eighties by Marc Westerman and Steve Rowbottom, Westrow has grown to become one of the North’s most prestigious hairdressers, with celebrity clientele among its thousands of regular customers – the award-winning pair regularly travel the world giving advice and demonstrations.

Co-Owner Steve Rowbottom said: “We’ve come a long way since we took out a bank loan back in the mid-eighties to buy a single hairdresser’s chair and we felt it was time to give a little back to the community as well as the customers we have served over the years.

“We’re making a donation to our chosen charity Martin House, and as a big thank you to everyone else we’re giving away free haircuts at every one of our salons – in total, that’s over £20,000-worth of free haircuts, and 400 early Valentine’s Day treats for the winners.”

* From January 19, Westrow’s Facebook fan page facebook.com/WestrowHair  will give away ten free haircuts every day for ten days. Each free haircut, inclusive of drying and finishing, is worth more than £50.
