Single parent family holidays at Cotton Bay Village
Cotton Bay Village, Saint Lucia’s only member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, has teamed up with Friendship Travel to create a series of packages especially designed for single parent families, including fun activities, entertainment and social events for kids and parents alike.
With unrivalled dedicated facilities and services for younger guests - including a nanny service, the Hummingbird Crèche and Children’s Club, and Club 16 for tweens and teens - plus grown-up indulgences from fine dining restaurant Piano Piano to Heaven spa, Cotton Bay Village’s new packages have been thoughtfully designed to help single parent families to enjoy quality time together whilst having plenty of opportunities to make new friends in a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment.
Families can choose from Tamarind and Calabash Suites, or Terracotta Villas with their own private garden and pool, all with two bedrooms and fully equipped kitchens and specially priced based on one adult sharing with one or two children. A complimentary welcome pack awaits, with everything from bacon and eggs, cheese, bread and cereal to tea and coffee, milk, ice cream and washing powder. Daily breakfast and dinner are also included, while children can also eat free at lunchtimes when dining with their parent at the Beach Club 14° 61° or Piano Piano.
Parents and kids can meet and mingle with other families at a welcome cocktail party at the Beach Club, and on the second evening a BBQ beach party provides a fun and relaxed setting in which to make new friends. Later in the week parents get a richly deserved night off, with nannies provided for all the children while the mums and dads enjoy a grown-up gastronomic dinner complete with adult conversation at Piano Piano. A group tour of the beautiful island of Saint Lucia and its sights is also included for all the families, while additional activities from rainforest canopy tours and zip lines to pirate ship adventure trips can also be booked.
The single parent packages are for fixed departures throughout the year, on the following dates: 11 February; 30 March; 3 April; 31 July; 15 August; 4 September; 21 October; and 24 October 2010.
