Cut price luxury on Crete

Holidaymakers looking for some five star luxury for their summer holiday next year should check out this early booking deal from Aldemar Hotels, one of Greece’s leading hotel groups.

Aldemar Hotels launched a brand new web site in December and to encourage visitors to browse their new site, they have extended their generous early booking discount until the end of January. With the cold spell continuing in England, many will be considering places to visit to enjoy some early summer sun and Crete as the southernmost Greek island has plenty to offer in May as well as sun, sea and sand.   

Aldemar are offering a 30% discount for all room bookings with free upgrade to half board received by 31 January 2010 at either the five star Aldemar Knossos Royal or the five star Royal Mare Village, both on the popular island of Crete located on the outskirts of Hersonissos. A short 25 minutes transfer from Heraklion Airport.

A lead-in price for a week’s stay at the Knossos Royal is from £399 per person with the 30% discount, if booked by 31 January 2010 in a garden view room on half board basis. Price is based on two people sharing a room and travelling on selected dates in May.

Flights are not included but can be booked through Easyjet (easyjet.com) from £124 per person in May from Gatwick to Heraklion.
