New part exchange deals at Heywood development

With interest rates remaining at an historic low and the Bank of England reporting an increase in mortgage approvals over the past 12 months, Taylor Wimpey Manchester is now offering part exchange deals on a number of Mobberley homes at its popular Hey Mount development on Mount Street in Heywood.
Part exchange helps potential purchasers own a brand new home, even if they have been struggling to sell their existing property. With the housing market definitely improving, the scheme is a real boost for people looking to take the next step on the property ladder.
Since July 2009, when Taylor Wimpey introduced the scheme at Hey Mount, six new homes were sold to housebuyers who offered their own home in part exchange for a new home at the development.
But this is the first time the four bedroom Mobberley housetype has been included in the scheme and only a limited number of this type of property are available.
With the four spacious bedrooms spread over three floors, the Mobberley townhouses are perfect for growing families or for people looking for extra space around the home. Prices for the Mobberley housetype start at just £164,995.
The ground floor features integral single garage, welcoming hallway, downstairs WC plus open plan kitchen and dining area with french doors that lead to private garden area.
The lounge is located to the first floor and benefits from juliet balcony which overlooks the private garden. Bedroom 4 and the family bathroom are also located on the first floor.
The second floor comprises bedrooms 2 and 3 plus the generously sized master bedroom which has the added benefit of en-suite shower room.
Anthony Mansfield, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Manchester, said: “The most stressful aspect of buying a new home is selling your current property. With part exchange you don’t have to worry about selling your house because we will buy it from you. The scheme provides you with a guaranteed buyer, a hassle free move and it removes the financial burden of estate agents’ fees.
“By using the scheme, buyers will also be entitled to our ‘House to Home removal service’, where our specialised team will pack and unpack their belongings and take care of the removal insurance – it couldn’t be simpler!”
Part exchange is one of a number of different schemes running at Hey Mount. Others include Recommend a Friend. Under this innovative scheme, when someone completes the purchase of their new home at the development and then recommends a friend who also buys a new home, both parties receive £500 from Taylor Wimpey.
And the financial advantages of owning a new home don’t stop once the purchase is complete. Industry experts say that running costs are significantly lower for a new home when compared to equivalent older homes. Research by National Energy Services found that average energy bills for a new build home could be as much as £556 cheaper than older home.*
