Cardiff hotel to host ‘Help For Heroes’ charity event

On Saturday 27 February the Copthorne Hotel Cardiff-Caerdydd will be holding a special charity event in support of “Help for Heroes”.
With table prices set at £350 for a table of ten, guests will receive a sumptuous three course meal and will be entertained by a live theatre show, disco and auction with fantastic prizes. The main highlight of the auction is a 1974 Silver Cloud Rolls Royce which has been graciously donated among other attractive prizes.
“Help for Heroes” is a charity set up in 2007 which aims to help the wounded returning home from Afghanistan and Iraq. To date, the charity has raised £37 million for those brave men and women. This special event is being organised by Lucy Morris, Assistant Events Operations Manager at the Copthorne Cardiff-Caerdydd Hotel.
Lucy Morris commented: “I’ve wanted to support all these service personnel and their families, as I can only imagine what they are going through. The risks they have taken in the name of peace and for our continued safety have inspired me to organise this charity event. We hope that this evening in February will raise as much money as possible as well as increase awareness for this noble cause.”
