United Airlines celebrates Chinese New Year

United Airlines, one of the world’s largest transpacific carriers, is now introducing a special online deal to Las Vegas. Hong Kong travellers can celebrate the year of Tiger in one of United Airlines’ most popular and energetic destinations in the U.S. with this special online deal.

From now till the end of February, a roundtrip Economy Class ticket from Hong Kong to Las Vegas costs only HK$5,980. To enjoy this promotion, travellers must purchase their tickets and depart on or before 28 February, 2010. United Airlines is also offering online travel bargain to Singapore and Ho Chi Minh City. Roundtrip Economy Class fares to either destination start from HK$910 for Hong Kong travellers departing from now till the end of March. Tickets must be purchased through the United Airlines Hong Kong website on or before March 31, 2010 to enjoy this special fare.

Together with this special deal, customers can enrich their travel experience with Travel Options by United SM while using EasyCheck-In Online.

- Economy Class customers who purchase these special fare tickets can upgrade to Economy Plus, which offers five inches of extra legroom, giving customers more room to stretch out and relax during transpacific flights. The upgrade charge varies from route to route. Terms and conditions apply.

- Mileage Plus members can also purchase Award AcceleratorSM which offers them the ability to earn travel awards faster. While earning basic miles, Mileage Plus members can multiply the miles on their itinerary, credit them to their Mileage Plus account and redeem miles for travel rewards sooner.

United Airlines is the first U.S. carrier to introduce an all-new First Class suite and Business Class cabin with a 180-degree fully-flat bed and iPod connectivity. All of United’s widebody international B747 aircraft flying in and out of Hong Kong have been configured with these new seats. United is also the one of the few U.S. carriers to offer three cabins and four classes of services on all of its international overseas flights.
