Ski magic from Skiweeks.com

10th February 2010 Print

Skiweekends.com may be best known for offering three days’ skiing for just one day off work, but they’re now doing even better by launching Skiweeks.com – with eight days’ skiing for an investment of just five days’ precious holiday time.

The new ski weeks by coach depart late on Friday afternoons, travelling direct to the Meribel Valley to arrive on Saturday morning, ready to hit the slopes straight after breakfast.  The return home departs on the following Saturday evening – with plenty of time to ski that day - arriving back in the UK on Sunday morning.

Prices start from just £199 per person (based on four sharing) for return, overnight travel in Club Class seats on 14m ‘Snow Express’ luxury coaches from London Victoria and Folkestone, plus self-catering accommodation at the refurbished two-star Cybele Apartments in Brides les Bains (Meribel). For an Easter departure on 2 April, price is £260 each for quad-share.

Said Dan Fox, managing director: “Not only is coach travel one of the most cost efficient ways of reaching ski resorts, reports prove that it’s also six times less damaging to the environment than air or rail travel.

“A coach uses less fuel than other transport so it’s not just greener, it’s also the cheapest way to get to the slopes in these recession-hit times.”
