New homes builder Stamford Homes has been re-accredited with the Investor In People award – demonstrating its continued commitment and support of its staff.

Around 60 people are employed by Stamford Homes Midlands region, which has its head office in Orton Southgate, Peterborough.

The company has held the accreditation since 1997 – and has successfully been re-assessed for the second time to be presented with the latest certificate.

IIP assessors recently spent two days interviewing staff from across the board as part of the review and re-assessment process.

Questioning included how staff felt about the company’s objectives and how they felt their individual needs and contributions to the business were addressed.

Stamford Homes managing director Brendan Blythe said: “We are delighted that once again the IIP assessors have recognised officially something which we as a company already know – that we do listen to our staff and encourage them to play a part within the business.

“The regular assessments do keep the company on its toes and ensure that we continue to meet the standards required.”

Stamford Homes North region, with a head office in Grimsby, also holds the IIP accreditation and is due to be re-assessed in the spring.
