Potential buyers at three Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire developments in Thornaby, Billingham and Middlesbrough have the chance to own a home for only 85% of the regular price with the housebuilder’s shared equity scheme.

Buyers will own 100% of their home but pay only 85% of the price – with only a 5% deposit necessary.

At Thorntree Vale in Thornaby an apartment starts from as little as £59,457 and a four bedroom townhouse from just £127,457.

This offer, which is only available for a limited amount of time, is available on selected Blake, Auden and Chaucer apartments and also a mid-terrace three bedroom Arlington townhouse.

Scholars’ Rise, one of Taylor Wimpey’s newest developments, is located in Middlesbrough and has recently added its three bedroom, three storey Harvington homes to the shared equity deal. The home is available from £131,708, 85% of the regular price of £154,950.

Over at The Fairways in Billingham, visitors will find the four bedroom Arlington family home from £127,457 with this offer.

With this package, the buyer pays a 5% deposit and then secures a mortgage on 80% of the property price, leaving Taylor Wimpey to step in and provide a rent and interest-free loan on the remaining 15% of the purchase price for up to ten years.
