Lingfield Point attracts Altus Edwin Hill to the North East

The flexibility of Lingfield Point’s office space and leasing arrangements has attracted another prestigious customer. Lingfield House has become the North East base for national chartered surveyors Altus Edwin Hill.
The company, which offers a specialist business rates consultancy to both occupiers and owners, already operates from eight offices nationwide. Its northern office, in Manchester, already has a strong client base across the North East and the opening of a new regional office was a natural progression for the company.
The office will be led day to day by Associate Vice-President Jonny Weastell and will employ five staff, creating four new jobs. The new venture will be overseen by London Vice-President Graham Senior.
The office suites in Lingfield House have been planned with start-ups and SMEs in mind and offer space from 540 sq ft and upwards in flexible units that can be configured to suit the needs of new and growing business.
Eddie Humphries, Lingfield Point estate manager said: “We are pleased to welcome Altus Edwin Hill to the diverse business community at Lingfield Point.
“Lingfield Point offers a great flexibility and choice of quality space, whether it is the award-winning Student Loans Company offices for over 600 people or a satellite office for a national organisation, such as Altus Edwin Hill. Our customer focussed approach to leasing and willingness to listen to the needs of our customers has once again paid dividends.”
Graham Senior, vice-president of Altus Edwin Hill said: “The new office in Darlington will make it much easier to service our existing North East clients and to grow our client base in the region.
“Darlington ticked all the boxes as far as location was concerned. It is at the heart of the extended North East region we are looking to serve, from Newcastle to Leeds.
Lingfield Point offered us the ideal premises. The management team has been incredibly helpful to us in setting up this new regional office.”
