Homebuy Direct with Barratt at The Meadows

First time buyers looking for an apartment in Bristol can now reserve a brand new home with Barratt at The Meadows in Siston under the Homebuy Direct Scheme.
Initially available on houses at the popular development the government-backed scheme to help people onto the housing ladder is now also available on selected one and two bedroom apartments.
“We are delighted to be able to offer HomeBuy Direct at The Meadows," said sales director Andrea Pilgrim. “This scheme has proved extremely successful in this area in helping first time buyers in terms of affordability and we expect high levels of interest in these new apartments."
Buyers who are accepted for the HomeBuy Direct scheme only have to find 70 per cent of the purchase price on a new home. The other 30 per cent is funded by a joint equity loan from Barratt and the Government’s Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).
This means that one bedroom apartments priced at £117,500 can be bought for £78,250 and two bedroom apartments priced at £142,995 can be purchased for just £95,000.
Current availability under HomeBuy Direct includes the one and two bedroom Moreton and the two bedroom Windsor.
Both have spacious living areas and contemporary interior designs so we are expecting demand to be high from buyers taking advantage of this scheme.
The Meadows lies close to the Bristol and Bath cycle path but, although it nestles in a rural location near Siston Village, the Avon Ring Road is close by, providing easy access to central Bristol with all its amenities.
