See the Shroud of Turin this spring

3rd March 2010 Print

The Exposition of the Holy Shroud is to take place at the Cathedral of St John the Baptist in Turin, northern Italy, between 10 April and 23 May 2010 (the last time it was displayed to the public was in 2000).

Although admission to the Exhibition is free, tickets are required – see sindone.org for more information.

For those who’d like to visit Turin and see the Shroud, city break specialist, Cities Direct is highlighting short breaks to the city which are available during the Exposition.

The cost of a three-night break is from £269 per person, based on two sharing and inclusive of return flights from Stansted, accommodation with breakfast at the three-star Genio Hotel – ideally situated in the heart of the city – as well as airport taxes and one piece of checked luggage.

Extra nights and hotel upgrades are available at a supplement.
