Braid Wheels - Prepare for a Spanish invasion!

Braid Wheels, the hugely respected and successful Spanish manufacturer has appointed Performance Wheels Limited as their exclusive UK distributor.

The move sees the Leicestershire firm importing and distributing Braid’s sublime - and vast – range of competition and high-performance road wheels. Established in 1978, Braid have established impeccable credentials at the top of European motorsport over three decades, taking titles in almost every genre of the sport including Touring Car, WRC, Endurance Off Road, Circuit and Ice Racing.

The diversity of the Braid range is particularly impressive. A vast array of monoblock wheels is available in all widths and diameters and the manufacturer’s unique casting system allows for tuners to specify their exact combination, complete with any required offset - normally only the reserve of the split rim manufacturer.

On that subject however, Braid also has extensive experience, being one of the very first manufacturers to create a strong and durable 3 piece wheel, back in 1978 (and yes, you can still buy it today!) The racing Concept range ranges from 13” to 22” diameters and stretches from 4.5” to 15” widths. The Classic Racing Concept range offers the timeless designs from the 70s and 80s, balanced with the very latest production techniques.

Braid’s innovation in production means that exotic materials and methods like magnesium and spin-forging also form part of the line up in a range that encompasses everything from Go-karts to Dakar monsters.

Despite a client list that reads like a ‘Who’s Who?’ of Motorsport and a simply staggering amount of race wins to their credit, the Braid wheels range represents exceptional value for money, often costing less than a lesser proven wheel.
